Let’s run it back…

In the face of Dad Ruins Smart TV Surveillance, I started to see some themes shaping up in the comments.

First of all, there were more conspiracy theorists than I was expecting.

Second, I was not prepared for how fearful people are about technology. I also was surprised how many people thought that surreptitious things could be happening with their devices, without anyone being able to figure it out.

Oh my.

So, I did something unusual. I put out a follow-up video Part 2/Mailbag - Stop your TV from SPYING ON YOU! It’s not really as humorous as I usually make my content, but as a Q&A, I tried to make it as short an informative as possible.

The video started strong, and is now receding into the darkness. I’m not worried about it, though. After 2 hours, it’s already surpassed Dad Ruins Life360. It’s hard to know if I should feel good or bad about that.
