99 Problems

From the very start, I wasn’t interested in targeting a specific niche with my YouTube content. I have the Dad Ruins and Dad Explains content lines, but my more recent content has been pretty technical.

It’s naive, but I’m hoping that the subscribers I’ve picked up along the way will stay - even as I go back to releasing more diverse content. Part of this hopefulness is rooted in me not losing a ton of the subscribers I picked up with Smart TV, despite me taking my sweet time to get back to privacy content.

That takes me to my content strategy. This week, I will be releasing a special combo Explains/Ruins video - covering credit scores, credit agencies, and credit repair scams. I do consider a main pillar of my channel to be dispensing with “Dad” advice, and I think this is a poorly understood topic.

After that? I’ll be releasing the first of the Opsec video series, showing people how to decrease the data that’s collected from them and their devices.

Then, I think I’ll be showing how to install Tailscale and use it with Pi-hole or AdGuard Home, to allow for use of your home DNS filtering while on the go.

Then, I’ll be back to exposing wellness scams - covering expensive supplements that claim to regrow hair.

Funny, if you haven’t seen it
