What you think, what you know, and what you can prove…
This goes back several decades for me - and it’s probably something my dad taught me.
It’s a segmentation exercise that’s meant to make you think more about the certitude of the thoughts that you have.
You have the things that you think to be true
You have the things that you know to be true
…and you have the things that you can prove to be true
Recently I posted that I thought that the various streams by which I have grown my audience, would not necessarily appreciate content like Dad Explains Credit Ratings. Well, it matriculated from something I thought, to something I knew, and to something that I proved very quickly.
The video? A disaster, from a performance standpoint. I also lost a significant number of subscribers. That’s a shame, but I also think the video was worth doing. I feel, at the very least, it’s keeping to my mission of dad-splaining important concepts for the interested.
For those of you on this journey with me, thanks for the support!
