Well, it’s not. However, life is funny sometimes.
Mariahlynn is known (sort of, anyway) for the song Once Upon a Time. This American classic goes something like this:

What does this have to do with anything?
I have a small group of members, scattered across YouTube Memberships, Patreon, and Buy Me a Coffee.
I’ve made some mistakes with membership - with the largest one being that I didn’t think anyone would actually sign up. This led me to create a tier that costs $.99 a month. YouTube takes $.30. Taxes are another $.30…. so, $.39 a month.
I’m not complaining. The fact that anyone would give me anything is kind of astonishing. I’m super grateful. But… I wondered what would happen if I created tiers that were a bit more expensive. Now, there’s:
Intern - $.99
Junior Engineer - $1.99
PE Licensed - $4.99
10x Engineer - $9.99
I decided to go full Mariahlynn, and introduce Sugardad - $24.99.
The audacity.
Except… someone signed up - and now I’m a ho, too (figuratively).
Amazing! Now I just need 1999 more, and I’ll quit my day job and do the YT thing full-time 😂
