Dad Ruins LifeLock & Identity Theft Protection
In my quest to keep people from wasting their money on services that don’t do what they claim, I’ve published Dad Ruins LifeLock & Identity Theft Protection.
It’s in a similar vein as ruining Incogni.
Less than 5 hours in, it has about 230 views, 21 comments (half are my replies), 60 likes, 32.5 hours watch time, +6 subscribers, 8.1% CTR, 6:42 AVD.
Not bad.
UPDATE: A little over 2 days in, I’m at 1620 view, 58 comments (half are my replies), 184 likes, 146.1 hours watch time, +31 subscribers, 5.5% CTR, and 5:24 AVD. The AVD decrease is the most disconcerting thing. AVP is down to 46.1%, which does not bode well for continued testing.
The thing that made me LOL was that the video now has two dislikes. Who dislikes a takedown of a scam service? I guess we have a couple iconoclasts up in here.
Also, my favorite comment?
“Are you as attractive as the thumbnail cartoons imply?”
How are you supposed to reply to something like that? My reply:
“I'm an average dad, with above average sarcasm. I took a photo of me, fed it into Sora, and asked for a comic. I've done it a couple times, and it has rendered my half-Japanese'ness to various degrees of accuracy. I've not asked for any re-dos, and Mom, the Creative and my Bratz doll daughters have not asked "who's that?".
So, maybe?”
I have the best viewers.
